Although experience in care is advantageous, we are accepting applications from people with no previous experience as full training will be provided. We are welcoming experience in hospitality, retail and customer service sectors to make use of those invaluable transferable skills needed to become an outstanding care assistant.

What are the roles and responsibilities of being a Care Assistant with SureCare?

  • Providing personal care, washing and dressing, oral care
  • Providing emotional support

Key Points:

  • Employment is subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK
  • Completion of all SureCare theoretical and practical training
  • Required to work alternative weekends
  • No experience or qualifications needed although experience is advantageous
  • Full and valid driver’s licence with own transport is essential

Benefits:

  • Hourly rates: £11.50 for weekdays, £13.00 for evenings (after 6pm) and for weekends
  • Bank holidays: £17.25 in the day and £19.50 after 6pm. Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are both paid at double time
  • Paid travel time at £10.42 per hour for travelling between clients' homes
  • Paid mileage 25p per mile in addition to paid travel time
  • Opportunity for pay increases as you become more qualified
